Where did I stray from God: through words, actions or things I did not do. How might I do better tomorrow? What grace do I ask from God in order to live more closely in his love?&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>You may wish to conclude by saying:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Lord Jesus, you have revealed yourself as the way to the Father:<br>Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You have poured out on your people the Spirit of truth:<br>Christ, have mercy. Christ, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You are the Good Shepherd, leading us to eternal life:<br>Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Collect<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Draw near to your servants, O Lord,<br>and answer their prayers with unceasing kindness,<br>that, for those who glory in you as their Creator and guide,<br>you may restore what you have created<br>and keep safe what you have restored.<br>Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,<br>who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,<br>one God, for ever and ever.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Amen.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">First Reading<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\">A reading from the prophet Jeremiah 31:1-7<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\"><em>You shall be rebuilt, virgin of Israel<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I will be the God of all the clans of Israel \u2013 it is the Lord who speaks \u2013 they shall be my people.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Lord says this:<br>They have found pardon in the wilderness,<br>those who have survived the sword.<br>Israel is marching to his rest.<br>The Lord has appeared to him from afar:<br>I have loved you with an everlasting love,<br>so I am constant in my affection for you.<br>I build you once more; you shall be rebuilt,<br>virgin of Israel.<br>Adorned once more, and with your tambourines,<br>you will go out dancing gaily.<br>You will plant vineyards once more<br>on the mountains of Samaria<br>the planters have done their planting:<br>they will gather the fruit.<br>Yes, a day will come when the watchmen shout<br>on the mountains of Ephraim,<br>\u2018Up! Let us go up to Zion,<br>to the Lord our God!\u2019<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the Lord says this:<br>Shout with joy for Jacob!<br>Hail the chief of nations!<br>Proclaim! Praise! Then out came a Canaanite woman from that district and started shouting, \u2018Sir, Son of David, take pity on me. My daughter is tormented by a devil.\u2019 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples went and pleaded with him. \u2018Give her what she wants,\u2019 they said \u2018because she is shouting after us.\u2019 He said in reply, \u2018I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.\u2019 But the woman had come up and was kneeling at his feet. \u2018Lord,\u2019 she said \u2018help me.\u2019 He replied, \u2018It is not fair to take the children\u2019s food and throw it to the house-dogs.\u2019 She retorted, \u2018Ah yes, sir; but even house-dogs can eat the scraps that fall from their master\u2019s table.\u2019 Then Jesus answered her, \u2018Woman, you have great faith. Let your wish be granted.\u2019 And from that moment her daughter was well again.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Gospel of the Lord. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Profession of Faith<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Apostles&#8217; Creed<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I believe in God,<br>the Father almighty,<br>Creator of heaven and earth,<br>and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,<br>who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,<br>born of the Virgin Mary,<br>suffered under Pontius Pilate,<br>was crucified, died, and was buried;<br>he descended into hell;<br>on the third day he rose again from the dead;<br>he ascended into heaven,<br>and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;<br>from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I believe in the Holy Spirit,<br>the holy catholic Church,<br>the communion of saints,<br>the forgiveness of sins,<br>the resurrection of the body,<br>and life everlasting. Pray for other countries who are struggling with the effects of the COVID 19 virus.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For those in authority: may they offer advice with care and integrity, may they seek to protect the poor and vulnerable.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For all who work in healthcare: give strength to all who look after the sick so that they may bring comfort and relief to the suffering.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the Church: may she offer prayers and consolation for all those affected.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Lord\u2019s Prayer&nbsp;<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Our Father, who art in heaven,<br>hallowed by thy name;<br>they kingdom come,<br>thy will be done<br>on earth as it is in heaven.<br>Give us this day our daily bread,<br>and forgive us our trespasses,<br>as we forgive those who trespass against us;<br>and lead us not into temptation,<br>but deliver us from evil.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Prayer for Spiritual communion&nbsp;<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I prostrate myself at your feet, O my Jesus, and I offer you the repentance of my contrite heart, which abases itself in its nothingness in Your Holy Presence. While waiting for the happiness of a Sacramental Communion, I want to possess You in spirit. Come to me, O my Jesus, that I may come to You. May Your love inflame my whole being, in life and in death. I believe in You. I hope in You.
