Where did I stray from God: through words, actions or things I did not do. How might I do better tomorrow? What grace do I ask from God in order to live more closely in his love?&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>You may wish to conclude by saying:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Lord Jesus, you have revealed yourself as the way to the Father:<br>Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You have poured out on your people the Spirit of truth:<br>Christ, have mercy. Christ, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You are the Good Shepherd, leading us to eternal life:<br>Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Collect<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>May your Spirit, O Lord, we pray,<br>imbue us powerfully with spiritual gifts,<br>that he may give us a mind pleasing to you<br>and graciously conform us to your will.<br>Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,<br>who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,<br>one God, for ever and ever.<br><strong>Amen.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">First Reading<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\">A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 22: 30, 23: 6-11<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\"><em>Now you must bear witness in Rome.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Since the tribune wanted to know what precise charge the Jews were bringing against Paul, he freed him and gave orders for a meeting of the chief priests and the entire Sanhedrin; then he bought Paul down and stood in front of them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Now Paul was well aware that one section was made up of Sadducees and the other Pharisees, so he called out in the Sanhedrin, &#8216;Brothers, I am a Pharisee and the son of Pharisees. It is for our hope in the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.&#8217; As soon as he said this a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the assembly was split between the two parties. For the Sadducees say there is neither resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit, while the Pharisees accept all three. The shouting grew louder, and some of the scribes from the Pharisees&#8217; party stood up and protested strongly, &#8216;We find nothing wrong with this man. Suppose a spirit has spoken to him, or an angel?&#8217; Feeling was running high, and the tribune, afraid that they would tear Paul to pieces, ordered his troops to go down and haul him out and bring him into the fortress.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Next night, the Lord appeared to him and said, &#8216;Courage! You have bourne witness for me in Jerusalem, now you must do the same in Rome.&#8217;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The word of the Lord.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Responsorial Psalm<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\">Psalm 15: 1-2, 5, 7-11. Pray for other countries who are struggling with the effects of the COVID 19 virus.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For those in authority: may they offer advice with care and integrity, may they seek to protect the poor and vulnerable.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For all who work in healthcare: give strength to all who look after the sick so that they may bring comfort and relief to the suffering.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the Church: may she offer prayers and consolation for all those affected.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Lord, in your mercy. While waiting for the happiness of a Sacramental Communion, I want to possess You in spirit. Come to me, O my Jesus, that I may come to You. May Your love inflame my whole being, in life and in death. I believe in You. I hope in You.
