Our Vision<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Making Church matter by\u00a0growing disciples\u00a0among disconnected Catholics in Dulwich\u00a0and influencing churches to do the same elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Our Strategy<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Currently one in three Catholics is\u00a0no longer connected to the Catholic Church. Our strategy is to creatively reach out to disconnected Catholics in our South London community with a fresh and relevant presentation of the life-changing message of the Gospel to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
\nOur weekend experience is central to our strategy and the weekend message is central to the weekend experience. Music, message and ministers work together to create an irresistible environment of energy and excellence in which newcomers feel welcome and want to come back. Equally important strategically are excellent weekend programs for kids and students where the messages usually parallel the adult message.
\nNewcomers are encouraged to come back. Regular weekend attendees are encouraged to take the next step and become a member. Members are challenged to take their next steps: serve in a ministry, join a small group, worship through their tithe or offering, support our missions, spend daily quiet time with God, and increasingly honor God in all areas of their daily lives. Members are also encouraged to invest in and invite their unchurched friends to our weekend experience.
\nOur strategy is to try and meet each person exactly where they are in order to challenge them to take their next step.<\/p>\n

Our Values<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Worship<\/strong>
\nWe believe in Orthodox Christianity, as taught by the Roman Catholic Church. The Eucharistic celebration is the source and summit of our faith which we seek to live and serve with the whole of our lives in vibrant and creative ways.
\nWe value this \u201cdynamic Orthodoxy.\u201d
\nExcellence in our worship honours God. We value excellence.<\/p>\n

Discipleship<\/strong>
\nWe believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. Our preaching and messages strive to break open the relevance of the Bible for our daily lives.\u00a0Changing and growing into the likeness of Christ is not just greater knowledge of our faith, but doing what God\u2019s Word says. We value life-change.<\/p>\n

Fellowship<\/strong>
\nWe believe that our Baptism makes us one family in which we learn to love one another as Christ loved us. We strive to build a church culture through small groups where people are open and authentic, especially about their need to grow and change. We value doing life together.<\/p>\n

Service<\/strong>
\nWe believe that the Holy Spirit has prepared works for us to do that will advance the kingdom of Christ. We recognize God\u2019s call on our church to serve both within our parish and also beyond: in our city, our country, and in the world. In the service of the Lord we can always do more. We value that challenge.<\/p>\n

Evangelization
\n<\/strong>We believe that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. We heed God\u2019s command to share his name with the world. We look for the opportunity to invite disconnected Catholics to join us. As a Church we want insiders to reach outsiders. We value growth.<\/p>\n

Our Faith<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Nicaea_icon\"I\u00a0believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.<\/em><\/p>\n

And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. <\/em><\/p>\n

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.\u00a0<\/em>For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.<\/em><\/p>\n

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. <\/em><\/p>\n

And one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I\u00a0confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
